Booking Policy

Payment for Booking Confirmation

Due to the limited number of set-up slots and the availability of props and decorations, our set-up services are on a first-come, first-served basis. 50% deposit upon booking confirmation, & Complete payment of remaining 50% within 24hrs before wedding actual day.

Set-Up and Tear Down Duration

Please consider the duration required for event set-up and tear down when booking your venue. Depending on the complexity of the set-up, set-up may require minimum 60 minutes, while tear down may require Minimum 45 minutes. We will provide an estimated set-up and tear down duration upon the confirmation of your order.

Surcharges

Venue: A surcharge of $30 applies for set-ups at Marina Bay Sands (Hotel/Shoppes) and Jurong Island. An additional surcharge of $50-100 applies for event venues on the 2nd floor and above without lift access (e.g., Second Storey in a Shophouse, Landed Property, Condo Function Room, etc.). Early Hours: Event set-up before 12pm will be subject to a $50-150 surcharge, and tear down after 11pm will be subject to a $50 surcharge. Last Minute Bookings A surcharge will be applicable for bookings made less than 7 days from the event date: Less than 7 days: $50 Less than 3 days: $100

Booking Cancellation

While there will not be any refunds for cancellations of orders after confirmation, the paid amount can be converted to credit for your future event use, valid within the next 6 months from the original event date. Cancellation conditions: Written cancellation made more than 7 days prior to the event date: no additional charge, with the balance converted to credit. Last-minute cancellation less than 7 days before the event date: subject to a $150 cancellation rate, with the balance converted to credit. Any other expenses arising from booking cancellation, including but not limited to fees that are non-refundable (e.g., custom props, perishable items such as fresh flowers), will be the sole responsibility of the client, deductible from the booking payment.

Revision of the Existing Booking Terms

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Booking Terms by posting updates and changes on our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or our services following the posting of any changes to these Booking Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Clause for Liability

Customers are responsible for any injury or damages caused to persons or property resulting from the use of items leased from Hanako Atelier. Customers agree to indemnify and hold Hanako Atelier harmless from any legal actions arising from such injury or damage, including attorney's fees and court costs.
